COMMUNITY SERVICE

Delegate Davis has served his community by being an active participant on numerous boards, commissions and organizations.

This includes: United Communities Against Poverty, Coalition of Concerned Black Christian Men, Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents, Kettering Middle School Mentorship Program, National Conference of State Legislatures, Southern States Energy Board and the American Council of Young Political Leaders.

Prior to his election in 1994, Delegate Davis was employed by Prince George’s County, Maryland, from 1988-1994. As the legislative assistant and office manager for former Prince George’s County Councilwoman Jo Ann T. Bell, his responsibilities included: reviewing budget requests, coordinating government sponsored community activities, and serving as the chief liaison with elected officials and community representatives.
